Harold and Maude (2017)
The young Harold lives in his own world of suicide-attempts and funeral visits to avoid the misery of his current family and home environment. Harold meets an 80-year-old woman named Maude who also lives in her own world yet one in which she is having the time of her life. When the two opposites meet they realize that their differences don’t matter and they become best friends and love each other.

Warning! This review may contain spoilers. There's this guy named Harold. He's about 20 and he's not exactly normal. Mainly because he's obsessed with death. And because of this said obsession, he tends to do not exactly normal things. Like staging multiple fake suicides and attending the funerals of random people he's never met. And it's at one of these funerals that he meets Maude. Maude is a 79 year-old woman (she'll be 80 on Saturday), who is full of more life than Harold and most people his age and happens not to know the person who died either. Maude cares very little of petty things like rules and laws and often drives off with other people's cars (minor spoiler: despite the fact she doesn't even have a drivers license). So it's only natural that the two become great friends. What I though of it: This is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Harold and Maude's relationship was awesome. Though I found it unrealistic that they fell in love over the course of only a few days, but it didn't really bother me too much. Harold is one of the best movie characters ever. He's right up there with Napoleon Dynamite, and I honestly wouldn't be able decide which one is better. The soundtrack was remarkable. Cat Stevens is amazing. If they ever make a remake, I'll be ecstatic, but I'd also be kind of scared that they'd ruin it, and it wouldn't be half as good as the original. Overall, it's one of the best movies ever made and it's also one of my favorite movies.
