F-14 Tomcat flew against A-4 Skyhawks, and Russia's MiG-28 aircraft. The most funny, but unexpected part is when Maverick gave the middle finger to a Russian MiG-28 pilot. The happiest part of the movie is when Maverick won the final battle. The saddest part is when Goose was killed by his own jet.
