Awesome book! All teenagers can totally relate to this sometime in their life. The plot is super intriguing: after a horrible breakup with her boyfriend Michael, Princess Mia is so devastated that she refuses to go to school at all, and instead just lies in bed crying over her sad personal life and eating. At the same time, though, she must speak for a very prestigious, important feminism-supporting gala, and somehow stumbles upon an ancestor's diary, helping her achieve a very big thing: turning Genovia, her country, from a monarchy to a constitutional monarchy. I would definitely recommend this for ages 12+!!!Almost 5 years agobookwormdude29's book review was featured in The Hawaiian Heist (Geronimo Stilton #72).
The book is pretty decent, but it's probably for 2nd grade to 4th grade level, because the vocabulary isn't very "advanced". The plot, though is interesting: Geronimo and his detective friend, Hercule, must venture to Hawaii to prevent a precious jewel necklace from being stolen, because a rodent had already tried to steal three times already. In the end, the rodent gets the necklace, but it turns out that necklace was fake, and the real one was safely kept somewhere else. That was a pretty good plot twist, eh? Overall, the book was pretty great!Almost 5 years agobookwormdude29 added a book review.

All of you guys out there, you should totally read this book! America's fat cat is back!!! And this is the book that started it all (I think!). It's the very first book of the renowned Garfield series. And even though this is the first book, the same great humor is still there! The only weird thing is that Garfield and the characters look kind of different than the Garfield you picture in your mind since this is the first book. Overall, though, AWESOME BOOK!!Almost 5 years agobookwormdude29 added a book review.
To be honest, I would rate this a million stars, because this is literally THE BEST BOOK EVER! Everyone can relate to the plot sometime in their life. Both Ellie, your average 7th grader, and Jack, the most popular boy in the 8th grade, are tired of their lives, so when they jokingly wish to swap places, it ACTUALLY HAPPENS! Ellie must have to deal with Jack's very strict schedule for two days, while Jack must deal with Ellie's problems with her "friends". Sounds easy enough, right? NO WAY! Megan Shull teaches her readers that it's actually extremely difficult to live in someone's shoes, even when it's only as short as two days!
