Yes, under your avatar there are some tabs that say things like "My Home" and "News" and "Books"- click on "Books", this will bring you to a new page, at the top of this page there is a search bar that says "Enter book title or author name", type in the name of your book. Now the page will change again, this time you should see a ring of books in a black and orange box. Use the arrows at the top right corner of the box to find your book, select the cover of your book. the page will change one last time- this time, it will have the selected book, its name, and the name of the author. beneath the cover picture, it will have 3 options- "I want to read it", "I'm reading it now", and "I read it" it also has a place for a star rating, and review. You may revisit this page via the "Books" tab when you would like to write your review. I hope this helped, anytime! ;)

armcginn's book review was featured in Tex (M Books).
Happy-go-lucky and reckless Tex McCormick loves nothing more than his horse Negrito, but one day when Negrito goes missing, Tex's world falls apart. Unsure when his dad will come home, even after months of traveling. Tex tries his hardest to stay out of trouble, but money and time are running out- will even that be enough to hold his disintegrating world together? It definitely wasn't classic-level like Hinton's other novel The Outsiders, but compared to Taming The Star Runner and Rumble Fish, it was certainly far superior. It was a quick, easy, intense, and relatable read, I would recommend it for years 13 and up.

Okay... every week from now on I will share a quote about writing, reading, or just a quote from a famous author! Now, for today's Writer's Quote Wednesday quote: "Maybe this is why we read, and why in moments of darkness we return to books: to find words for what we already know ." -Alberto Manguel Follow to get more quotes PLUS some great book recommendations! This week I read the Delerium Trilogy, which I would recommend for sixth grade and up... last week's reads were S.E. Hinton's Tex and James Dashner's Mortality Doctrine series, Book 1 of Sarah J Mass' Throne of Glass series, and Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.

I LOVE THAT KIND OF BOOKS TOOOOO! Try reading The Darkest Minds series (The Darkest Minds, Never Fade, In The Afterlight, then the novellas, In Time, Sparks Rise, Beyond The Night. They are in a collection called Through The Dark. Finally, read The Darkest Legacy.) It is by Alexandra Bracken.

I always try to write from the heart, If it isn't a good book, my review has no heart in it (though I have felt may times that I simply can't do the book justice but hit post even though I don't think it's good enough). If it isn't A good book, sometimes I don't write a review for it. In fact, before I buy or even check out a book from the library, I often look it up on Google and read a preview there or on Libby which is a free ebook/audio book app to figure out if it's even worth my time. As Benjamin Franklin once said, "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."
