This book follows Mo Lebeau, a girl who was swept to Tupelo Landing, NC by a hurricane. Ever since the hurricane, Colonel and miss Lana have been taking care of her. She is best friends with Dale Earnhardt Johnson III. Miss Lana runs a cafe that is loved by the townspeople, and doesn't enjoy lawyers. they plan to help Lavender win the Sycamore 200 and get back at he arch nemesis Anna Celeste (Attila). However, after a customer of Miss Lana's cafe customer is murdered, residents start to question the safety of the town. Detective Joe Starr comes to investigate, but isn't as welcomed by Colonel. Dale and Mo decide its up to them to solve this case! Using their natural-born detectives skills, they just might find the murderer. I enjoyed this book! It was an interesting mystery type book. At the same time there is the mystery of finding who Mo's "Upstream Mother" is. The author shows the struggles of the characters to. I would recommend this for grades 4+. You should give it a try!

I am reading the 1st book, and it seems interesting! I am sure the other books will be just as good! Winning these books would help me continue to read such an awesome series. I would love to win this!

With the help of Butler they may be unstoppable to Holly and team LEP (who are the mystical creatures). This book is written from the antagonists point of view. You may find yourself rooting for Artemis. I enjoyed how the book was written differently. Since Butler is a trained bodyguard, I enjoyed one of his fight scenes a lot. He is being attacked as part of a diversion. However, he knows he can easily take out the attackers, but instead he says that it wouldn't be a workout. Though I enjoyed it, I felt it was slow for me, since everything is described deeply. Still you should try this book.

Zach King: My Magical Life is about a boy (Zach King) who comes from a family with magical powers. When he should be getting his magical powers, he hasn't. This leads him to believe that he might have been skipped, meaning he did not receive these powers. All members of the King family have been home schooled, but since Zach has not shown any magical abilities, his parents decide to send him to public school. At first he disagrees with this decision, but slowly comes to accept their choice. At Horace Greeley Middle School , he meets new friends, such as Rachael and Aaron. However, Tricia Stands ,the most popular girl in school, isn't as nice to Zach and his friends. Read the book to find out their plan to get back at Tricia, and how it effects them. I thought this book was good, but not amazing. It had it's funny events, but it didn't feel so unique. This book still makes a good read.

He takes the name Melvin, and is forced to go to school with Ellie. They meet a new friend, Raj. The book includes there adventures and also a mini-heist. I enjoyed this book, and found it inspirational. I also love science. It had good messages at the end too! The story sort of teaches you at the end to look at reverse aging a different way. The good and bad of innovations. The book can also be read by younger kids too. It is a great all-ages book.

This book is about 4 children: Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny Alden. There parents have died, and they think their grand-father is unkind. After venturing together, they find an old boxcar, which they decide to live in. They start off with $4, and we see how the children survive on their own. They meet a nice man by the name of Dr. Moore. He is kind and helps them. By the end, they learn that not everything is as it seems. I enjoyed this book a lot. Though it is an older type of book, I feel that anyone could enjoy it. It has more of a basic format, making it great for younger grades, but like I said anyone could enjoy it. My favorite part is how the kids make use of what's around them to survive. You should definitely give it a try!
