I think this book is just great. I mean it is just fun to read because there are just great twists in this story I mean its just GREAT.

This book has a great survival theme and Brian has learned many ways to survive and it's all because a small hatchet that he is alive. If you read and you like this book if you want more survival read "Brian's Winter" its another great master piece made by Gary Paulson that I promise you will love!

This book is great is just pure genious made Gary Paulson. Another great master piece that makes you feel like your right there or you want to be in this situation yourself like me I mean its great, and remember: Don't mess with a MOOSE or you get the ANTLERS. A little hint that will tell whats going to happen in... "Brian's Winter".

I liked this book because it has a lot of action and adventure in it.I also liked it a lot because it is about a boy that was flying in a plane when it got hit by a tornado and everyone died but him. and he gets stranded on land and has to survive the winter with a bow and arrows,a shotgun,an ax, some cloths and some frozen food.With all that he has to survive the winter.
