Wonder by RJ Palacio is a story about a boy named August Pullman who was born with mandibulofacial dysostosis, a facial disease which makes Auggie look different. Wonder is realistic fiction and I recommend it to grades 2-6. It's a great book to read and one of my favorite books in the world. Auggie has been homeschooled by his Mom since he started learning so that it wouldn't be hard for Auggie at a real school. Then, at the first year of middle school, they decide to put Auggie in school. Auggie goes to school a week early to take a tour. The tour is given by 3 kids. Charlotte, Julian and Jack Will. When the tour is over, Auggie goes home and thinks about middle school. It should take you about 2-3 days to finish reading Wonder. When August starts school, kids stare, even a few teachers but at lunch, a girl named Summer sit's down with Auggie and they become friends just like that. The author's message is to not judge a book by its cover. Wonder is a WONDERful book to read and I hope you choose to read it. This book is really good!

The Clay Marble by Minfong Ho is a historical story about the Vietnam War. I recommend it to grades 3-5 and it should take you 1-3 days to read it. I enjoyed reading this but it has some sad parts, happy parts, and hopeful parts. It's about a girl named Dara and her family that need to survive the Vietnam War but they get separated so Dara and her new friend from the Border, Jantu, need to find their family but Jantu's baby brothers foot get's hit by a bomb and she has to go to the hospital and Dara needs to find her family and Jantu's. Dara's scared so Jantu makes a clay marble and tells Dara that if she believes in the marble, it will help her and so Dara is left all alone, on the trail while people scream and run. I really enjoyed this book and if you want to find out if Dara survives the Vietnam War than you should read this book.

Wishtree by Katherine Applegate is a fiction story about a tree named Red, but Red is not an ordinary tree. Red is the neighborhoods Wishtree. What this means is that every year on the first of May, people come from all over to put a wish on the tree. There are silly wishes grand ones and some don't even make sense. Wishtree is a great book to read when camping in a forest, hiking or just at home. I recommend it to grades 2-5. It should take you 1-3 days to read it. I give it 4.9 stars. I recommend Wishtree to people who enjoy nature, friendship, and magic. I really enjoyed it and it's a great choice of a read. I hope you choose to read this great book. I loved this boom a lot!
