This book is about how Middle School is full of mean girls and problems for Babymouse. One day Babymouse joins a film club and is the director of it. She thinks she's going to make the best movie ever, and she gets too absorbed in trying too make it perfect. She starts too act a little snobby about things and the movie starts to turn into a disaster. Can Babymouse fix her mistakes before the film is a complete catastrophe? I am a Babymouse fan so it was pretty exciting knowing that this was a chapter book and not just a graphic novel.

We read this book back in third grade, but I had to reread it and it was weird how the book seemed to be better the second time I read it. It's about this boy named Rump who lives in a kingdom with little red riding hood. He's always laughed at, and one day he finds out he has this gift for spinning straw into gold. He is warned that he shouldn't use magic, but he still does, getting deeper into a curse every time he does. To lift the spell, he must venture with Red and fight off creatures and solve problems that get in his way. I just love how the author did a cross over with Little Red Riding Hood, I thought that was really cool. After reading this book, I'm seriously considering reading the other book based on Little Red Riding Hood called "Red".

This book is about a girl named Nikki Maxwell, and she just moved so she has to go to a different middle school.While in this middle school, lots of things happen. She meets her two BFF's named Chloe and Zoey, she finds her prince charming (Brandon), and she meets the middle school mean girl, Mackenzie. In her diary there are tons of stories, all summarizing how her day was. One of these stories include Nikki going against Mackenzie in an art contest. If it weren't for this book coming out I wouldn't be reading the whole series, and that would be terrible! I'm very thankful that this amazing book was published.

I read this book back in third grade, and it was awesome! However, I never really continued the series. I just skipped it and went straight to Harry Potter. This book is about a very troublesome Percy Jackson, who turns out to not be such a normal kid. He's a Demigod. One day he meets Annabeth and Grover at a camp for children of the Gods, and together they go on a quest to retrieve Zeus's lightning bolt for him before he blames Percy's father, Poseidon, for the theft of it. If you really like Greek Mythology, then this is the perfect book for you. Maybe one day when I finish reading Harry Potter I'll finally read the rest of the series.

This book was in our Battle of the books list at my school. The key to our success of winning the whole battle was by everyone in our group reading at least 10 of the books on the list. I read this one and it gave me an Escape From Mr.Lemoncello's Library feeling. It's about a girl that's moving to San Francisco, which is where the creator of a game including books and the girls idol lives. There's just one problem, he's been shot. In the same place where he's been shot the girl finds a new book that hasn't been shown to the public yet. Her and her friend together try to solve the secret of the book that's been hidden in it. This was a really good book, and I would recommend it to any person out there that's into mystery books.

BabyMouse is a really good book series. This graphic novel is about how BabyMouse signed up for film club for a chance to be famous. While making the film some bad stuff happened such as: becoming a monster directer that means bossing everyone around and thinking it's just her film. (read the book to know all the bad things that happened). This book inspired me to make my own movies! Did BabyMouse and her film crew get the movie done in time? Did the movie make BabyMouse famous or did it make her and her crew the laughing stock in Middle School?
