jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
"You shall always remember this as the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow!"-Jack Sparrow. I was skeptical about watching this film at first but as soon as it finished, I had my mouth open. This movie is the first of the popular franchise and it's definitely one of my favourites. It's about a crew of ghost pirates who come to the town of Port Royal on their boat the HMS DAUNTLESS and kidnap the governors daughter, Elizabeth. The reason? She is in possession of a gold pirate medallion that will break a curse that was put on the pirates that, in the moonlight, exposes them as decomposed skeletons. To break the curse they need all 882 medallions and Elizabeth's is the final one. This swashbuckling adventure is jam packed with action and fun and definitely a great film. I watched it with my friends and now we watch it every time we see each other. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 8+

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Nancy Drew.
"Another case!"-Nancy Drew. Nancy Drew is a jam packed action film that has me on the edge of my seat every time. Nancy, an ameatur sleuth, goes to Los Angles with her father where they are staying in a spooky old mansion which once belonged to a famous movie star Delia Draycott, before her untimely death. Nancy begins to investigate the actresses death but as she gets closer to the truth, the case becomes more and more dangerous. Someone doesn't want Nancy to solve this mystery and they'll do anything to stop her. I watched this movie with my friends and we all had our mouths open by the time the end credits began to roll. If there's one thing for sure, Nancy Drew is one girl who isn't afraid of a mouse. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 8+

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.
"Tra La La!"-Captain Underpants. There's a new superhero in town and his name is...Captain Underpants! When two mischievous pranksters named George and Harold hypnotize their mean principal and turn him into a elastic-waisted superhero from their comic books, they have no idea what their getting into. After Proffesor Poopypants, an evil scientist, comes to town, the boys and Captain Underpants have to save their fellow school mates from having their laughter lobes zapped away. This laugh-out-loud comedy is full of great humour and I personally love it. I watched it with my friends and by the time the end credits started rolling we had tears of joy rolling down our faces. I could watch this movie a thousand times and it wouldn't get old. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend it for viewers 6+.

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Tangled.
"I want to see the northern lights!"-Rapunzel. I absolutely love this movie. When Flynn Rider, a wanted thief hides from the palace guards in a mysterious tower, he is taken hostage by a beautiful and snappy teen by the name of Rapunzel who has been imprisoned in the tower since she was born. But Rapunzel has a strange power. 70 feet of magic golden hair! Then Rapunzel makes a deal with the charming thief. If he takes her to see the Northern lights that appear every year on her birthday, she will give him back his "precious" satchel which contains a tiara Rider stole from the palace. Mother Gothel, Rupunze'ls overprotective "mother", won't make the journey easy for the adventurous duo. All I can say is that this musical adventure is full of laughs, smiles and catchy tunes. My favourite scene would have to be when Flynn takes Rapunzel to the seemingly harmless 5 star restaurant the Snuggly Duckling. Disney would have to be one of my favourite movie producing companies. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 7+

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Pixels.
"We have to take the battle to them."- Sam. When I went into the cinema to see Pixels, I didn't expect much. But when I left, I instantly downloaded the movie on my phone and watched it over and over again. Pixels is a fantastic movie about video game characters who have come to New York to attack it. Gaming experts are then hired by the hired by the military to try and stop the pixelated characters from destroying their world. It may not sound like much, but this action packed comedy is bound to make you smile. Without spoiling the movie, I have to say that the ending to the film definitely had me on the edge of my seat. There is some course language in this film, but nothing to bad. This movie is jam packed with laughs, smiles and much more. This is a great movie to watch with your family and friends. I rate it an 8 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 8+

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Descendants 2.
"Don't you ever miss screaming at people and making them run away from you?"-Mal. Descendants 2 is an AMAZING sequel and in the first minute, I knew this movie would blow me out of the water. The beginning scene is a fun and quirky introduction to this film and I think that it was the perfect way to start a movie. Mal is struggling with the weight of being that perfect girl everyone expects her to be and after a fight with Ben, she heads on back to her old home, the Isle of the Lost. But when Mal arrives, she finds the Isle is now ruled by the daughter of Ursula, Uma. This movie has so many fun features in it and one of my favourite characters would have to be the adorable talking dog, Dude. I went to see this movie with my friends and we all left the cinema with our mouths open. I still can't get those catchy songs out of my mind. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 7+

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Wonder Woman.
"What one does when faced with the truth is more difficult than you'd think"- Diana. Wonder Woman is a fantastic film about an Amazon princess who is trained to be an unconquerable warrior. After she meets an American pilot who tells her about a raging conflict that's happing right now and Diana is convinced she can stop it. Diana leaves her home for the first time and heads to fight in the war that will end all wars. Wonder Woman is a beautifully directed superhero story that digs into Diana's transformation from naive warrior to inspiring hero. I watched this movie with my friends and we all left with our mouths open and hearts warm. The visual effects in this movie were incredible and definitely one of the highlights of the film. Gal Gadot did an amazing job at portraying Diane and in my opinion it is one of her best movies. This is a great movie to watch with a bunch of friends and a bucket of popcorn in hand. I rate it an 8 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 9+

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Marley & Me.
"En grade! Thrust! Develop! Recover!"-Jenny Grogan. Marley and Me is a beautiful family movie about a mischevious dog named Marley. John and Jenny Grogan decide to start their family by getting a puppy. When John surprises Jenny by taking her to choose a puppy for her birthday, they fall in love with Marley and bring him home. But owning a puppy isn't easy. Marley takes up the habits of drinking out of toilet bowls, destroying furniture and eating almost anything. John and Jenny try to train him, but he is kicked out of the training school. As Marley grows, the Grogan family does as well. Marley is a much loved pet of the family, but destroys almost everything. This is a movie that brings tears to my eyes every time I see it and I can really relate to this film because I have a small pup too. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend it for an audience of 8+

"Hey! Mr English Guy! I think your egg is hatching!"- Jacob Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is an incredible movie based on the script by J.K Rowling. It is about a man named Jacob who stumbles across a wizard by the name of Newt Scamander. Newt cares for magical creatures which he carries around in his suitcase. I think the digital effects in this movie are amazing and they look so real! There are a few scary scenes in the film that may frighten young children, but all in all it is a terrific movie that is highly enjoyed by many people. It is great to watch with a bucket of popcorn in hand. If you liked Harry Potter, you will love this. I rate I think an 8 out of 10 and I recommend it for an audience of 9+

jojo_potter's movie review was featured in Beauty and the Beast.
Beauty and the beast is an incredible remake of the 1991 cartoon. I feel Disney has really out done itself with this movie. I watched it with my best friends and we absolutely loved it. Emma Watson is a marvellous actor to portray Belle and I felt really connected to the film. But the moral of this story is don't judge people by there appearance, but Belle is clearly more attracted to the beast when he is human again. Other than that, the film is a great family movie and I rate it an 8 out of 10. I recommend it for people 6+.
