I read this book over the summer. It expressed many emotions and changes. It puts the readers in a situation in which your able to see different lifestyles and how people may act and how they go through life. The book has a great overall theme and it's overall a great and interesting book.Over 9 years agokianamariee added a new comment in
Malala was an average Pakistan citizen. When she found out that all girls schools were being destroyed because girls "didn't need the education" she knew what she had to do. She stood up for what she believed in and did what most children her age couldn't, what most adults couldn't. She was brave and a great role model to many kids and just people in general. Malala had confidence and seemed as though she was fearless. And honestly, if that didn't deserve an award, I don't know what does.Over 9 years agokianamariee has read this book.
