One lesson that Ava learns that will help her life is that knowing the future and answers would never help her life which means, knowing everything can hurt somebody's emotion or feelings. For example, Ava asks some negative questions that is relating with her family to the pencil and the pencil replies her questions, the answers made Ava frustrated and thwart, and she realizes that the pencil is causing a lot of problem. So, this means to Ava is that knowing unrevealed things and answers would not make a victorious life for her, which this made Ava pessimistic at first. And also, she realizes her life is so much better with out her extraordinary blue pencil. Consequently, knowing everything and problems would never make a triumphant life for a person. I'd rate this book an "8 out of 10." I would recommend this book because Ava is truthful and honest how she expresses her true emotions, and since the setting of this story is mostly school themed, it relates with students' life. One question that I'd ask to Ava is "How does a pencil affect and change your afterward life?"

Ava finds a magic pencil that gives her all the answers. She can just write down her (factual) questions and her pencil tells her the answer, but Ava quickly realizes that having all the answers isn't always a good thing. When she learns through the pencil that her mother has cancer, she will do anything to get her mom help without raising suspicion, even if it means facing her fears and anxieties. This is a thought provoking book about how we try to control everything. But not everything is in our control. Maybe knowing something but being powerless to change anything is worse than not knowing at all.

What would you do if you found a magical pencil that could answer (almost) every question? Ava finds her magical pencil in her family's junk drawer, while quickly rushing to school for a math test. Ava ALWAYS studies but then when she gets to the test all the answers fly out of her brain. But when Ava finds the pencil it gives her the confidence to succeed........Until she finds out her mom has cancer. Which means she must act normal while convincing her mom to go to the doctor while Ava faces her fears. This book teaches that sometimes it's best not to always know all the answers in life but to just sit back enjoy it and know it will all work out!

It is time for Katniss and Peeta's Victory Tour, and Katniss is dreading it, and the prospect of mentoring another doomed child in this year's Hunger Games, which is a Quarter Quell. Something unprecedented happens every 25 years in the Hunger Games, so no one has any idea what to expect. The change is revealed and it will change Katniss's life forever - again. The stakes are high in this book. Also, there's more romance than in the last.

You will hear that this book is a letdown after the first two. I don't think so. Collins wove a beautiful, if dark, tapestry in the first two books, and rips it apart with a vengeance in this one. Will she sew it back together again at the end? You'll have to see. District 12 is destroyed, and Katniss is relocated to District 13, where she plays the role of the Mockingjay, the public face of the rebellion, in the war that will decide Panem's fate.

Lyric Walker, a girl who lives in Coney Island and her life changes in one night when she witnessed the arrival of The Alpha or First Men. (They are basically normal people only they live underwater, some have scales, tails, sharp teeth, and other traits) Several Alpha teenagers are forced to go to her high school. And despite her efforts she is told to help the Alpha Prince, Fathom, learn to adjust to being an American Teenager. But, after they spend time together (Lyric is teaching him things like reading english, and doing things that are normal to her) she finds that she may like him a lot more then she would've ever thought. It would be very dangerous if they were to go places together as both sides (The Alpha + Humans) right to keep them and everyone else seperated, there's riots, gangs, and government officials saying basically, the Alpha are horrible, dangerous, violent people. But there are people (like lyric and her friends Bex + Shadow) Who try to show everyone is basically equal and should be aloud to even talk and/or hang out together. and with ALL of this happening Lyric and her parents have a huge secret that could endanger there lives. What an amazing read, exciting, adventurous, and never a dull moment! Recommended to 14 and up. Thanks for reading -Ajg15's Reviews

One minute Charley, a Seventeen year old girl, was walking to Target. A second later She's alone in a red desert, her clothes gone. After exploring a bit she finds a boys pair of Bermuda shorts and a bandanna and puts them on. (later you find out everything so don't judge yet.) *fast forward 12 days of being alone, scared, and surviving* Charley is found by 2 boys named Thad & Jason they take her to the City of Nil. Thad explains the hard truth she's on Nil an Island that doesn't exist you have 365 days to escape or you did the only way out is a shimmering light called a gate, when you get there you'll only be between the ages of 13-19. Charley doesn't expect any of this, she doesn't expect to fall in love, to make true friendships or even to lose friends to Nil... This was a very very good book, I couldn't stop reading it and was up til midnight. A definite page turned read and enjoy! Recommended to 13+ up. Thanks for reading -Ajg15's Reviews
