For my English class, we have been reading Romeo and Juliet for the past month now. This play requires tons and tons of patience. It is very hard to follow, do to it being written in Shakspeare. However, at the core of this story, I feel it is a very intriguing tale that has potential. But so many times I find this story to lag on and on, and find it a little bit boring. I feel that it uses uneven story telling, and it's hard to follow what is actually happening. One thing I will say about this old as time tale is that it has excellent character development. Today, too many stories have way too many characters and they can't balance them all out. While there are instances I don't find myself invested in the story, not once do I question the characters actions. I always understand the characters point of view, and why they do the things they do. I get why Romeo kills Tybalt, and why Juliet doesn't want to marry Paris. That is perfectly clear throughout the story. I know that this play was published in like the 1500's, and that it's important to know about. However, for it's time, I feel that this was probably very advanced. So in the long run, Romeo and Juliet is something you are probably going to have to read some time. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy it, but just too many times I find myself drifting off. It's up to you if you like it or not, however I think that it was a semi interesting story that could have been a bit improved on.

This series was quite enthralling. I remember reading this comic series back when I was in the 4th grade. Spider-Man: Marvel Adventures. It follows the adventures of Peter Parker, as he navigates his way through high school. However, he doesn't fight crime alone. With the help of his girlfriend, Sophia "Chat" Sanduval, and the Blonde Phantom Detective Agency. Chat is a mutant, with the ability to talk to animals with her mind. Throughout the series, Spider-Man teams up with other heroes such as Wolverine, Black Cat, and the Blonde Phantom, just to name a few. This series has a different take on the wall- crawler that everybody knows and loves. Although, my one issue with this series is that it ended to soon. For example, the last issue came in 2012, just as Disney XD was launching it's new T.V. series, "Ultimate Spider-Man." Marvel wanted to do a tie in comic series with the show, and so they canceled this series and replaced it with a "Ultimate Spider-Man" comic series. And yes, that wasn't nearly as good as this one. So if you haven't already read this series, and your a comic fan, I say you give it a shot. It may not be as good as some of the others, but it's alright. But if your a crazy Spider-Man fan like me, you might want to read it.

While it has been a while since I have read this book, I distinctly remember it. At the time, it was one of my favorite books. It was unique, and different. While it does borrow some similar elements from some other stories, it never looses it´s originality. It kept me interested in the world of the Sound Bender from beginning to end. This story centers around Leo, a young teenager who is sent to live with his filthy rich uncle after his parents were killed in a plane crash. As the story progresses, Leo begins to uncover his amazing ability to hear the history of an object when he touches it. He uses his new found abilities to uncover the truth of his Uncle Crane, and who he really is. If you haven't yet read this book, I suggest you give it a try. Every chapter progressively get better, until the heart stopping finale that leaves you wanting more. Sound Bender is definitely worth a read!

This book is amazing- yet it lacks something huge. Where is that style that I remember from J.K. Rowling? I thought this play was a collab. There were things that I would've fixed- and some things don't even make sense. Like so, Voldemort having a daughter? I thought Moldy Voldy would've not been able to, since he's technically not human. Still, I gave it 4 stars because I think this would be something cool to pull off. Keep reading, my friends! Peace out!
