This film was amazing. It really was. I can't believe there is so many good movies that I let get past me over the years. This movie kept me guessing the entire time, and just when I thought that I had it figured out, I didn't. I loved everything about this movie. However, it was a little short. This film is 95 minutes long, which is around an hour and a half. Now, just looking at that run time, you might think that that's incredibly short for a live action movie. And it is, however I feel that they used every minute they had to tell an amazing story that never stopped entertaining. Now, Source Code may draw some comparisons to Edge of Tomorrow. While Source Code did come first, they are still completely different movies. In this movie, A terrorist bombs a train, killing everyone on board, including a man named Sean Fentrist. Now, the government uses a top secret experiment, named Source Code, to send Captain Colter Stevens, who is reportedly dead, back inside the body of Sean Fentrist to discover the bomber. I don't want to give any spoilers, but this movie is absolutely incredible! You should watch it if you haven't yet!

I have always loved the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. I find them unbelievably funny! However, when I read this new one, I felt something was missing. Every time that I read A Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, I laugh my head off. However, this one really wasn't that funny. While these books are mostly meant to be funny, they usually have somewhat of a plot and a story behind it. This one really doesn't. I feel that it's just a bunch of random events put together that were meant to be funny, but really weren't. Oh, and don't let the book fool you. You know how it says that it's about Greg making a movie to get his mom off his back? Well it's really not. He doesn't start making the movie until page 200 or something, and there's only like 220 pages. On top of that, he's only making the movie for like 4 pages. I felt that last years "Old School" was much better in quality, and in laughs! I'm not saying that Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down isn't worth reading, because if your a fan of Wimpy Kid, you'll end up reading it any way. I'm just saying that it could have been a lot better. I mean, I only laughed one time during this entire book. The others? Iv'e read them all multiple times and have laughed hundreds to thousands of times at each one! Okay, I may be exaggerating a bit, but you get my point. It's just not that funny. But you should read it anyway, and see if you like it or not.

Suicide Squad was an okay movie. It wasn't great, but wasn't horrible either. I enjoyed the characters, and their back stories. I also enjoyed the special effects, for the most part. However, DC is trying to hard to be like the MCU. Their too worried on creating a connected universe rather than focusing on the task at hand. Here's the thing, while their movies have been box office successes so far, 2 out of the 3 have received generally negative reviews while Man of Steel received mixed reviews. Now, I loved Man of Steel, I thought it was a fresh take on the modern Super Hero. So, I was excited for the sequel, but was very disappointed when it eventually came around. First of all, the film struggled trying to keep a coherent story, and was too worried on having Easter eggs for the future movies. While Wonder Woman was cool and all, she really had no other reason to be there other than so that they could introduce her for future installments. Same thing happens here. While most of the characters in this movie have a point to be there, there are some that it wouldn't matter or affect the story if they weren't. Also, the Joker. Now, I know that most people's major complaint with this movie was that Joker didn't get enough screen time. But quite frankly, I think the film would have been better if he was only in the flash backs. For example, he was important in Harly Quinn's back story, but other than that, he didn't really have a purpose. I felt, again, that he wasn't just there so that they could set up future installments involving the Joker. I felt that this was D.C.' S answer back rob Guardians of the Galaxy. For example, this film went into development right around the time of Guardian's massive success. It's the story of a group of characters that aren't heros (and aren't that well known) who get together because they have too in order to take down the notorious villain. While the two films aren't that much alike, you can tell that D.C. took inspiration from Marvel. Now, I'm not hating on D.C. Wht I'm trying to say is that D.C. shouldn't worry about competing with Marvel. They have compelling characters and story lines that can stand on there own, and also be a great universe. I mean, take the Dark Kinght trilogy for example. That was back when they weren't interested in doing a connected universe. And those were fantastic films. They really were. I'm not trying to say that D.C. never has a chance to compare to Marvel, because if they play their cards right, they could give Marvel a run for their money. So I say that if your a D.C. fan, you should watch this film. You shouldn't watch it anyway. Because really, it's not that bad. The problem is their trying to much to e like Marvel, and not like D.C. And so far, it's not really working for them.

This move was incredible! I loved every minute of it! It tells the story of Bill Cage, who is forced to join the army to fight against an alien race known as the Mimics. What they don't know is that the aliens completely slaughtered everyone and wins. However, cage successfully killed a Mimic, and it's blood disinigrated his entire body, killing him. However, it's blood causes him to relive the day every time he dies. So now, with his new power, he teams up with Rita Vrataski to take down the alien race for good. This is unlike anything I've ever seen. It was smart and oringal from beginning to end. The cast was great, especially Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. They did fantastic and both worked very well together. This movie wasn't great, and I've added it to my top 10 favorite movies of all time. Watch this movie, you'll be doing yourself a favor.
