The second movie in the Percy Jackson franchise is quite entertaining. However, while I don't feel that this sequel is better than the original, I think that this film was fun to watch. I am rather upset that this movie series didn't go anywhere after the second installment. This was mostly due to mixed to negative reviews. On the other hand, I am rather happy that they are picking the Percy Jackson stories up and are ready to do a Television show on them. Because, after all, I really did like these two movies, and re watching the second one made me remember how good they were. While I haven't actually read the books, I've heard that some of the people who have are upset, because it was not completely faithful to the book. Honestly, I really don't understand that. To me, when they make a movie off of a book that I have read, I want it to be a little different. For example, you've already read the book, and loved it. You want more of what those stories have to offer, so you go to the movie. Yes, you expect most of the movie to incorporate scenes from the book, but do you really want to watch the exact same thing that you just read? I would prefer something slightly different, but that's just me. Overall, I think that the Percy Jackson movies are fun family friendly movies that are really enjoyable to watch.

Everyone in this movie does a great job, the special effects were spot on, John Ottman's spectacular score was insane, I really loved this film. Personally, I think this is my second favorite X men movie, behind "Days of Future Past." Do not let other people stop you from watching this movie! It is really good, don't listen to the critics! I don't want to spoil anything, but remember how Quicksilver stole the show in Days of Future Past? Well, he does it again. Seriously guys, give this one a chance. Oblivion. What a confusing film. This movie is incredibly interesting and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end. However, this is probably the most confusing movies I have ever seen. And yes, I've seen Inception. This movie takes your mind and completely turns it on it's side. That's how utterly confusing this film is. However, this is one of the most original science fiction movies that I have seen in a while. It stars Tom Cruise as Jack Harper, and Andrea Riseborough as Julia. On a Earth that now has very few people on it, Jack is in charge of drone maintenance. He, along with everyone else, can't remember anything before the "war," except for that they won. Jack, throughout the course of the movie, learns that things aren't quite as they appeared. I suggest that if you are a fan of movies that make you think, this is a good choice for you. Also, I forgot to mention. The visuals in this film are amazing. Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy) puts a nice spin on this incredible science fiction thriller. So in the end, I think you should give Oblivion a try.
