This version of the movie Dumbo was very different then I expected. It was more violent then I thought it was going to be and there was a lot of animal mistreatment. I felt really sad most of the movie because I hate to see animals hurting or sad. Even though the movie was sad, I still liked the message of, "even if things keep getting in your way, keep pushing through because what you want and need is ahead of you..."

I know a lot of people really liked this movie, but I just really didn't... I thought it was kind of lame and the plot was just a little ridiculous. I only give this three stars because I wasn't a big fan...!

I was really disappointed with this book... It didn't really make sense and I found myself not being able to grasp the plot line. The illustrations were ok, but they didn't blow me away. Over all, I would give this book a 1 star just because I did not enjoy reading it...!

A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel is based off the fiction novel by Madeline L'Engle. With comic strip pictures by Hope Larson, this book tells the story of three children and their adventures thru the universe! I really enjoyed reading this version of A Wrinkle in Time and I would definitely recommend it!

Starring Vanessa Hudgens as she plays two women, a duchess from Europe and a baker from Chicago, this movie is full of holiday spirit and inspiration. When the baker goes to Belgravia for a competition and runs into the soon to be wed duchess, they are surprised by their similar appearances. They decide to switch places in each others lives for two days and they find themselves loving each others lives. When the time comes for them to go back to their own lifestyles, what will they do? How will the duchess and the baker find a place in life to be happy? "Life is what happens to you when your trying to make other plans."

The Moon Within by Aida Salazar is a dazzling story of a girl who is having trouble embracing the changes in her body. When her mother insists on her having a moon ceremony to celebrate the coming of her period, 11 year old Celi wants nothing to do with it! But, when she finds her body changing quicker then she wishes, and her heart beating faster around a boy she likes, Celi is faced with a question... How can she embrace her new body and personality and learn to love it? I think this book is good for ages 11 and up, because there is some content that would not be suitable for younger ages.
