This is the sequel to Korman's, Ungifted and it follows Noah into middle school. Great sequel! I think Noah is a pretty cool kid who has some of the same challenges as all kids regardless of his IQ. He gets kicked out of the Academy for Scholastic Distinction to see what a regular middle school would be like. Middle school is a challenge for him because he is shorter than most kids and the lexicon of a scientist. Did you get that SAT/ACT word? Noah tries so hard to fit in, he almost loses his best friend Donovan. So what is normal, really? This is a great book to help you figure that out. I borrowed this book from my library. I now think I want to own it for my personal library.

Two thumbs up, but beware. I like the book because it has puzzles, ciphers and other detective clues to keep the story moving. But I didn't like that the Emily's favorite author is attacked very early in the book, and I won't say how or why here. That made me put the book down for a few weeks. I finally finished it. The book is about a book worm and I think I am a book worm, too. Emily gets caught up in the stories and I enjoyed working with her to solve codes and puzzles. She meets a new friend when she and her family moves to California, where the story takes place and their adventure is worth reading. This is a one of three book series. Wondering should I read the next one or not.

I am hungry, I mean really hungry for trivia! I love learning about unfamiliar facts and then sharing them with my Dad and Mom. And the weirder the better, right? Like, I told my Mom that her favorite cake, Red Velvet, well the red food coloring is made from crushed bugs! She almost fainted! She later laughed and said that she may not eat "anything" with red food coloring again! Thank National Geographic, I got that weird but true fact from YOU! I know, I know, I can always ask Alexa or just search on Google, but it is always better to read and I enjoy reading National Geographic books. Plus, I am a National Geographic Fan and avid reader! This book would be a great addition to my NG collection as well. I have NG Kids Brain Games and NG Quiz Whiz Books and am a subscriber to the magazine since I was little.

Well, I do have siblings, but they do not live at home. So I don't have to share my room or my toys with them. That's what this book is about, siblings. Sunny, I just love that name, is an only pug. She lives alone with her owner and is enjoying her space. She has everything in its place and a place for everything. Until, dum, dum, dum! Her owner brings home another pug, ROSY, her new little pug sister. Now, I use to always want a younger sister, but Rosy's behaviour is what reminded me that I don't want a little sister! Rosy is so all over the place with her high energy and always in Sunny's face. But when the worst of the worst things happens, Sunny duns on the big sister hat and leaves her safe space to find Rosy. What happens? Rosy and Sunny were tugging with Sunny's favorite stuffie, Mr. Bunny. Mr. Bunny goes flying out of the window. Now what? Will Sunny stay angry with Rosy? Will Rosy run away? Where is Mr. Bunny? I don't want to spoil the book, so please read it to get those answers. I think the book is an easy read for beginners and the drawings are cute! I like the book because it is realistic with the relationship between Sunny and Rosy.

I thought I would like the book because Brian Lynch is also a writer for the Minions and The Secret Life of Pets. I've seen the movies and thought a book by him would be as funny. While Grumbolt, a not so ordinary toy, has a rough start being tossed away and ends of going on an adventure where it meets some other toss away toys who are on their way to Toy Academy to find a kid to own it and love it, the book is full of laughs, but very predictable. It is a chapter book, but the chapters are short and have some good cliff hangers at the end to keep you reading. I read it in one day and decided not to add it to my library. Younger kids might like it.

This book is great! I like mermaids and Third Grade Mermaid is about a really funny mermaid named Cora. Cora is really funny. She thought there was a trick to learn spelling words. So she asked her friends what is the trick to spelling, and they had no idea what she was talking about. Everyone knows you need to study to get better at spelling. It was hilarious that she thought there was a magic way to be a better speller. I also like that her friends support her like friends should! This has to do when one of the other mermaids was bullying her. Way to go friends! One of my favorite parts of the book is when she find a GIGANTIC shrimp and brings it home; and then her brother gets an allergic reaction. She did not know he was allergic to exoskeleton animals.

This book is so funny! So funny my dad cracked up laughing! I like Bad Guys because Mr. Wolf (also known as the Big Bad Wolf,Mr. Chompers, and "Grandma") wants him and his friends Mr. Shark, Mr. Snake and Mr. Piranha to be the "good guys". At first they thought he was out of his mind! Then they finally went with it. They try there best to be good, although, other people STILL see them as the "bad guys". I shall read the WHOLE entire series! I love,Love,LOve,LOVe, LOVE, this book!!!!
