Another easy chapter book for you to enjoy. I read this one in 2 days as well. I enjoyed this book because it is kind of what I am experiencing with some of my peers having been in a few commercials and in the newspaper recently. Judy is like my friends, a little jealous because her friend's is in the newspaper for winning a spelling bee. The book helped me understand why some of my friends were not being nice to me and it helped me talk to them. My favorite part would be when Judy makes the broken, weird-looking, dolls in the hospital look like nice patients that are healing. This shows that being kind and doing for others when it comes from the heart will make you famous, too!

I challenged myself to read books from the Judy Moody series this month. So I started with this one because it is about a bucket list, a list of things to do before a certain time. For Judy, her list was before she began 4th grade. It is a fun book and easy read, especially for younger girls. I read this one in 2 days. What would be on your summer bucket list? My favorite part would be when Stink, Judy's younger, 2nd grade brother, help Judy understand contractions.

Redwall is a MENSA reading list book that I've been wanting to read for a while. This book is filled with adventure, suspense, and action! If you enjoy fantasy books, then this is a must read. My favorite part of Redwall would be when Jess the squirrel and Basil Stag Hare take back the tapestry of Martin the Warrior from Cluny and his harmful horde. Are you wondering who are these characters and why is the tapestry being fought over? Then you must read this book!

Hero Dog is written by an 11 year old which was the first reason I wanted to read it. And boy did her book keep me entertain. It is for younger readers, but kids older than 9 can enjoy it too! Hilde is a kid reporter and detective. Her dog, Zeus, becomes more than her best friend in this book, but a "hero". How? Well read the book. I do have a favorite part where Zeus is chasing Maddy, but I can't tell you who Maddy is or why Zeus is chasing her. But this part will keep you engaged in the book.

I was thrilled to win this book! Marie Curie is my favorite STEM role model, but I also enjoyed reading about Albert Eisenstein, Sally Ride, Nikola Telsa and Ada Lovelace as kids. It was so cool to read how Neil DeGrasse Tyson did odd jobs to make money for a telescope and that Hawking hated school and preferred to build his own computer. Scientists have very different backgrounds and abilities. The book is very inspiring.

I have a new interest in archaeology and zoology. So this book was just what the scientist ordered! Ivy and Bean are a great read for any age girl. And this book is great if they are interested in science. My favorite part would be when Ivy and Bean start to put the bones that they found together, thinking that it was a whole new species. Where did they find these bones? What did they uncover? Read the book and enjoy the journey like I did. I think you will.

Hello. I read books in May before I signed up. Can I add these books to my summer reading list for the contest?
