I love ths book. The setting is a so-called "perfect" world, but is it? It makes the reader think and want more to the story. Plus, I like it, so you should.

It is a futuristic dystopia in which there is lack of concern, happiness, sadness, anger, pain or any kind of emotion or feeling. Each person in the community is assigned a meticulous job. Meanwhile, the protagonist, Jonas, is assigned to be the the community's Receiver of Memory in which he is the only one who will actually feel these emotions in physically and The Giver if you read the book you will find more about it i defiantly recommend itAbout 11 years agoakaneoncityligh wants to read this book.
