I love these books! They're at the top of my list, along with Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and the Selection. Every plot twist in this book kept me on the edge of my seat, and I can't wait to read them again.

I definitely agree, J. K. Rowling is an amazing writer, but is also a wonderful person too. If I remember correctly, she was a single mother and a lawyer before this series! And also, just a slight mistake, you spelled Hermione wrong.

I've read these books at least ten times by now, but I must have older copies, because my covers are different. These are gorgeous! Where can I get them?

This is the book that lead me into a figurative world I never knew existed. Harry Potter, an orphan living with his aunt, uncle, and mean cousin, finds out that he is a wizard. As he is led through the wizarding world, Harry finds out more about himself and what being a wizard means. He also finds out that he's sort of a celebrity among witches and wizards all over. Of course, he's got haters too. Or at least, those who seem like haters. Potter doesn't take long to realize who his friends are. He and Ron click from the start, but it takes a few mistakes and a bit of drama to befriend Heromine Granger. This is one of the best books I've read. Ever. Rowling, I must say, is one of the best authors alive. If you haven't read Harry Potter yet, I urge you to pick up a copy of this as soon as possible. You are missing out on too much. Aren't the fantasy type? Not to worry - Rowling's bestselling series has something for everyone.

This is probably the closest movie/book adaptation I've ever seen, and thank goodness, because there would have been a reign of terror, courtesy of the fangirls, following shortly after. The Harry Potter series is my all-time favorite book series, and I love the movies too, even though they've only been around as long as I have. All i can say to anyone about to watch is, even though the adaptation is close, it isn't perfect. Read the books first! Always.

I read the entire Selection series and was seriously upset when I finished. Like the the Percy Jackson series and the Harry Potter books, I didn't want it to end. Nearly two months after I had finished the series, a friend told me that there were going to be more books! At first I wasn't sure what to think, because the series had seemed so resolved, but once I got over the initial shock, I was obsessed! I was on my toes, searching for the release date of the next two books every other day! When it finally came out, I had just spent all my money at the book fair. Luckily, somebody let me borrow the book, just the other day. I was over the moon! I immediately started it, and couldn't put it down. I finished it the next day (sadly), and can honestly say my only complaint is that the next book isn't out yet. :'( I loved reading through and meeting the children of all my favorite characters, catching up with them, and reading Maxon and America's reactions to what goes on in Eadlyn's selection. I can't wait for the fifth book, five stars all the way!
