The first book in a thrilling fantasy trilogy starring one of the animal kingdom's most hunted heroes. Foxcraft is full of excitement and heart, and a touch of magic.

Isla and her brother are two young foxes living just outside the lands of the furless -- humans. The life of a fox is filled with dangers, but Isla has begun to learn mysterious skills meant to help her survive.

Then the unthinkable happens. Returning to her den, Isla finds it set ablaze and surrounded by strange foxes, and her family is nowhere in sight. Forced to flee, she escapes into the cold, gray world of the furless.

Now Isla must navigate this bewildering and deadly terrain, all while being hunted by a ruthless enemy. In order to survive, she will need to master the ancient arts of her kind -- magical gifts of cunning known only to foxes. She must unravel the secrets of foxcraft.

I did not like this book. I do not like fantasy books, but if you do try reading this one. I have friends that liked it, so I tried teading it

This looks okay, I don't really know... I might like it.

Foxcraft- The Taken is a very interesting novel about how a fox gets lost from his family and runs into a group of wolves. Then he has to use his skills to get him out of this mess. He has to use trickery and slyness to escape and find his family. This is a book for people who like mysteries and facts. People can also learn a lot about how foxes' senses work and how they live in the cities.

Foxcraft is good for people who love fantasy and mystery, animals, and people. A great tale for ANYONE who loves to read!! A good tale for people who have time to read a book where it doesn't totally fit your taste but does at the same time.

at the beginning the fox is running through the woods it kinda leaves you hanging at the end like what is going to happen in the next book?

I personally enjoyed this book because it showed a good sense of personification. I think it's a great children's book and should definitely be read!

This book shows the story Isla a fox that learns magic to defend herself. The cover was just as good as the book. I love 1st person stories. I strongly recommend this book.
