I really, really, really loved this book, and I usually don't like non-fiction, biographies, or any genre of that sort. This book took me by surprise. Here I am finding this book in the library and picking it up. Who knew I would actually fall in love with it? It's gripping. The author draws you in with the events and actions. He spins the words and makes a woven masterpiece. The suspense and mystery scenes were really engaging, the story line so intense. I found myself learning new things about Martin Luther King Jr. And can I just say how much I loved how the author spelled out most of MLKJ's life? This book wasn't just about the murder of MLKJ, it was about how he lead marches and changed America. Another thing that I liked is how the author wrote the scenes leading up to the murder. It seemed a lot like the show on National Geographic, Seconds from Disaster. It showed where James Earl Ray stood and how he shot MLKJ. I found that incredibly interesting. Oh, and I just loved how the author showed how the FBI and police tracked Ray and how he ran away. Long story short, I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a nice suspense/mystery-nonfiction-biography-type book.Over 5 years agomybooksandi added a book review.

This award-winning film is probably one of the greatest breakthroughs in cinematic history. From the powerful soundtrack to the beautiful, comic-art like animation, this is a Sony release like no other. The story follows Brooklyn-native Miles Morales and his unique life as the one and only Spiderman. At least, that's what he thought. The film soon reveals that there are multiple universes with their own distinctive Spiderman. Each of them brought their own unique qualities into play and used teamwork to defeat evil and return to their own dimensions. Although I've never been an avid Marvel fan, this variation of Spiderman's story is definitely one to watch!Over 5 years agoturtlenicole added a movie review.
