Oblivion. What a confusing film. This movie is incredibly interesting and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end. However, this is probably the most confusing movies I have ever seen. And yes, I've seen Inception. This movie takes your mind and completely turns it on it's side. That's how utterly confusing this film is. However, this is one of the most original science fiction movies that I have seen in a while. It stars Tom Cruise as Jack Harper, and Andrea Riseborough as Julia. On a Earth that now has very few people on it, Jack is in charge of drone maintenance. He, along with everyone else, can't remember anything before the "war," except for that they won. Jack, throughout the course of the movie, learns that things aren't quite as they appeared. I suggest that if you are a fan of movies that make you think, this is a good choice for you. Also, I forgot to mention. The visuals in this film are amazing. Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy) puts a nice spin on this incredible science fiction thriller. So in the end, I think you should give Oblivion a try.

spider2001's movie review was featured in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
"I am one with the force. The force is with me. I am one with the force. The force is with me." Just a quote from one of my favorite characters from "Rouge One." I really did enjoy this movie. I thought that it was a fun prequel to watch. The characters were interesting, the story was compelling, the music was phenomenal. And no, I did not forget. The special effects were the best thing about this movie. They just added to how great this movie was. Now, while I liked the movie, I did have a few problems with it. For example, I felt that it took a little too long to get set up. I was 45 minutes into the movie, and nothing really happened yet. However, as soon as the first fight sequence came, I was hooked. After that point, I was immersed into the world of Star Wars. While I enjoyed most of the characters in this film, there was one character that I was not a fan of. That was K2SO, the new droid character. While he did provide a few good lines, I felt that his character was really not that necessary, and a bit annoying. But that's just me. I know several people who loved this character. However, I didn't. Also, at the end of the movie, (SPOILER WARNING) most the main characters die. I felt that this movie had more of a sad tone then the rest of the Star Wars franchise. Okay, now that I've told my few complaints, I'm going to discuss an awesome element that was added to this film. DARTH VADER. At the end of this movie, Darth Vader had an epic scene that I'm not going to spoil for anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet. But I'm just saying, it's great. So if you haven't seen it yet, I suggest you do. Because it's one heck of an epic ride.

spider2001's movie review was featured in The Legend of Tarzan.
The Legend of Tarzan really surprised me! I've been wanting to watch this movie, and so I got it for Christmas. When I watched it, I was blown away by how good it was! All these reviews I'm reading that are mixed to negative? Why? A 36% on Rotten Tomatoes? This movie again proves that Rotten Tomatoes has no clue what their talking about. This was truly a great film. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. At the end of this film, I was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. It had amazing action sequences, fantastic acting by Alexander Skarsgard, Margot Robbie, and Samuel L. Jackson, and A really captivating musical score. For the most part, the CGI was spot on, and used appropriately throughout the movie. I really loved this film, and I think you will to. Seriously don't listen to the critics on this one. This is one of those movies that they got seriously wrong. I don't understand their problems with this movie, I really don't. I say you watch it. If you don't like it, that's okay. However, if your a fan of Tarzan or action and adventure movies, and let this one get past you, I say you check it out.

spider2001's movie review was featured in Source Code.
This film was amazing. It really was. I can't believe there is so many good movies that I let get past me over the years. This movie kept me guessing the entire time, and just when I thought that I had it figured out, I didn't. I loved everything about this movie. However, it was a little short. This film is 95 minutes long, which is around an hour and a half. Now, just looking at that run time, you might think that that's incredibly short for a live action movie. And it is, however I feel that they used every minute they had to tell an amazing story that never stopped entertaining. Now, Source Code may draw some comparisons to Edge of Tomorrow. While Source Code did come first, they are still completely different movies. In this movie, A terrorist bombs a train, killing everyone on board, including a man named Sean Fentrist. Now, the government uses a top secret experiment, named Source Code, to send Captain Colter Stevens, who is reportedly dead, back inside the body of Sean Fentrist to discover the bomber. I don't want to give any spoilers, but this movie is absolutely incredible! You should watch it if you haven't yet!
