adroit_avimimus's movie review was featured in Minions: The Rise of Gru.
Good plot, fast-moving, just weird enough to be funny and a little subversive, deeply silly and completely unpretentious but fails to exploit all the possibilities of an origin story. A movie full of goofs, gaffs, and most definitely laughs, really made me feel special inside. The film gave me hope, hope that society isn’t truly failed. The way that Bob, Kevin, and Stuart bonded together throughout the film was truly breathtaking, the way that they showed their appreciation for Gru really made me reflect on the world today. The fact that Gru can have that powerful of a bond with Minions who don’t speak his language is extremely empowering. The movie shows how us as a society can overlook our differences to show love for one another the type of love that makes you tingly inside. The plot twist at the end really was incredible, I mean truly, to not spoil it, the scene honestly had me shed a tear, it was a masterpiece every moment something powerful was happening it’s a truly underrated film and puts other movies to shame. To say that it is the best animated movie ever would be an understatement, honestly I believe this is the best film ever, never had I seen an auditorium full of such nicely dressed individuals cheer loud and proud at a film. I can’t express enough how amazed I was from start to finish and I truly from the bottom of my heart thank everyone with involvement in the making of the film, the work you did to create such a classic will forever be admired, this film will be cherished by my family for generations to come. This film will live forever as it should and I really hope to see more from Gru and his silly little minions.

A high-concept animated film about animals with superpowers is brought to vibrant, endearing life by the superpowers behind the scenes: lively voice talent from an all-star cast, and a script that is smart, exciting, and very funny. "League of Super-Pets" doesn’t push animation forward like this year’s earlier animal team-up film "The Bad Guys," ... but it leans into old-fashioned, slightly anarchic Saturday morning cartoon vibes and soars on its own terms. Not only does DC League of Super-Pets have jokes, but it has heart. Add this to the list of must-see family summer flicks. Jared Stern’s balanced eye for action and endearment shines wonderfully and makes for a fun summer animated comedy. With its heart and soul tied into the history of DC Comics, this spirited movie is great family fun.

The movie's not that bad. To me, it's still a best comedy. I don't care how people react to how bad the movie is. Even though it may copy from Kung Fu Panda. But this comedy, really beats those film to it. And it's still fine for kids to watch. But all in all, this movie definitely reminds me of "The Emperor's New Groove" reference. And that brings back so many funny memories. Even Paws of Fury deserves to have a sequel or a TV show. I don't know when it will happen. But only time will tell. I don't blame the filmmakers. They're still doing the best they can to make this movie perfect for kids and family, even teens to watch. No matter how this movie turns out to be a disaster, I think it deserves better to continue. The strength of this film is the humor and the animation. I laughed quite a bit, and the animated action looks great. Even if the movie can feel a little too derivative with its Kronk rip-off and predictable story, it’s a harmless piece of entertainment that delivers everything the trailers promised. While the nonstop flurry of jokes don't all hit the mark, there's enough madcap silliness to keep the audience entertained. It's clear that the makers had an aim to make the movie stand out from typical kiddie fare, and they succeed, generally.

I fell completely in love with this movie the first time I saw it. I love everything about it from the characters to the musical score to the story to the feelings to the laughs to the amazing song in the end credits to the animation to all of it, this is a brilliant film on showing people that you really can be whoever and whatever you want no matter how the world works, including being a champion without fighting. Kate McKinnon was phenomenal with making another great mark in this wonderful film, but her role as one of the Ghostbusters in the new remake of the Ghostbusters film is still my favorite role in any film to see Kate in, she's just as incredible as John Cena and they both were terrific in this project. Ferdinand is definitely my favorite because he's played by John Cena who is another one of my top favorite actors of all time especially after his fantastic performance in the most recent Bumblebee movie which I still love a lot now, but another reason why Ferdinand is my favorite character is because he's just like me. I only fight when I feel I have to and if someone hits me first as my mom told me to do, never hit anyone unless they hit you first and I still live by that, but like Ferdinand I'm more of a person who's as sweet as sugar and always knows to keep violence to a minimum and I too never leave any one of my friends behind in any situation, plus I too love the smell of flowers especially my favorite type which are orchids. You have got to see this movie because I believe it's got something for everyone and there's nothing wrong with stopping the violence and taking the time to smell the flowers and enjoy life, and if you don't like to sniff flowers than that's cool too so you do your own thing. Watch Ferdinand and I garuntee you'll fall in love with him and his friends just like I did!!!!! A joy-filled film filled with heart and humor and an embrace for all that makes us different and all that makes us wonderful. The now-glossier cartoon succeeds in its very roundabout way of telling its tale. Ferdinand inspires young viewers to be comfortable in their own skin even amid societal expectations. This movie was one of the best ones I've ever watched. The message is properly delivered and is so touching. You don't have to fight or just be like others to achieve success, you can be yourself. It brought me to tears and I highly recommend it. You watch many movies, but there are some among them that you are impressed by and perhaps are worth watching again. Ferdinand was a movie of this type.
