British retirees travel to India to take up residence in what they believe is a newly restored hotel. Less luxurious than its advertisements, the Marigold Hotel nevertheless slowly begins to charm in unexpected ways as the residents find new purpose in their old age.

i saw this the day it came out. it was good. some parts were a little slow, but overall it was good. it is about a bunch of old british people who move to india and stay in this rundown hotel called the best exotic marigold hotel. Actually Maggie Smith (the woman who is in harry potter, she played a professor) is in it. then tere is the Yoplay (the yougurt) lady is in it.
