Courageous (2011)

Rated PG-13 129 min - Drama
Law enforcement officers Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, and their partners stand up to the worst the streets have to offer with confidence and focus. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood. They know that God desires to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, but their children are beginning to drift further and further away from them. When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God... and to their children?

This movie is just so amazing. Telling the story of 4 police christian officers. They have their own problems, including family issues and dealing with an illegal gang that is a threat. When I first saw this movie, it was on a Friday night at my church. I was right there with my friend. She had seen the movie before, but I didn't. When she suggested that I should see the movie that night, I said "ok." But i had no idea what was coming to me. This movie is so sad and depressing. There are some funny parts though. I recommend this movie who needs to get their tears out, or to learn that God has plans for them. 5 stars is what I rate this movie and I recommend it to any christian.
