Are they planning to make Insurgent or Allegiant? Because I'm pretty well dam sure that Tris's parents weren't supposed to die in the first book. So why should they die in the first movie?

Okay, so basically this movie is about a future when the world is split into five (not Four, haha) groups (Also known as Factions). (These are the five Factions) Erudite- It's basically for the Smart-Ones, the Know-It-All's, the Ravenclaws, Spawn of Athena. Abnegation- They're selfless, always putting other people's needs before their own, they feed the Factionless. (The people who have either not made it into a Faction or did not pass the Faction's test) Amity- The Kind-Ones, the Hufflepuffs, the Farmers. They grow the food that fuels the country- or Factions. Dauntless- The Brave-Ones, the Gryffindors, the Children of Ares. Other Factions regard them as "stupid, dangerous, crazy", they're not all like that. Candor- The Truth-Tellers, the Sons and Daughters of Apollo. They have to absolutely tell the truth, no matter whether it is derogatory, insulting or just plain rude. Tris is Divergent. Being Divergent means that when you took the test, your results were "inconclusive". That means that your results weren't just belonging to one Faction. It means your results belonged to more than two Factions. Later in the series and movie, Janine Baker (Erudite) believes Divergents are dangerous, dangerous to the community, she believes that they will cause a war, a bigger war than the one that started the Factions. Whoever isn't Divergent, is "Genetically Deformed", revealed in Allegiant (the last book in the series). Four is not Divergent. He is just like the rest of the others. He is genetically deformed. Join Tris as she blatantly disobeys Four (Tobias Eaton) time and time again whenever he says, "Tris don't go to.." and ends up being- Whoops, nearly gave away a massive spoiler that could possibly ruin your life. I mean, a very slight chance of it ruining your life. Just 99%, dwell on the 1%.

Haha, I love how you describe the factions by telling us which house they'd be in at Hogwarts, or which cabin at CHB.

This movie is absolutely amazing! The visuals make everything so real and amazing, and one of the best things is that the movie actually follows the actual story very closely ( obviously with some edits ). This movie is an absolute " must-watch " movie for people whether you have read the book or not!

Ugh, that's what everyone says. And it's Divergent. You obviously don't belong in Erudite

Well, I mean, considering nobody is currently genetically damaged, at least not in the way it's described in the books, wouldn't it be that everyone IS Divergent? (Of course, I'm not saying that you shouldn't try to categorize people. It's fun!)

Although this movie is good, it's missing some of the main highlights of the book. Also, the special effects are not the best (for example: when they're throwing knives and trice gets her ear cut in between scenes the cut disappears and then magically reappears!).
