Elf (2003)
When young Buddy falls into Santa's gift sack on Christmas Eve, he's transported back to the North Pole and raised as a toy-making elf by Santa's helpers. But as he grows into adulthood, he can't shake the nagging feeling that he doesn't belong. Buddy vows to visit Manhattan and find his real dad, a workaholic.

When a Christmas elf from the North Pole is tossed into New York City, you know the movie's going to be hilarious. In Elf, Buddy the elf goes to NYC to find his long lost father, a seemingly impossible task. But it turns out that the hard part is going to be convincing him that Buddy is his son. For one thing, Buddy is clueless about how the world works. He's overwhelmingly dumb, and assumes that everyone is kind, jolly, and in the Christmas spirit. It is a funny and cute story. The best movie about in elf that found out he was a human and that his dad was on the naughty list. It made my mom laugh and my mom does not have a good sense of humor. It is so funny and the movie is amazing.
