Hairspray is okay, but it's not my favorite. It is on YouTube, so I watched it. We sang a song from it for our concert, You can't stop the beat, it is a great song.

Hairspray is my favorite movie of all time!!!!!!!!! It is hilarious, and has the best songs ever. In Hairspray, which takes place in the 1960s, a plump girl named Tracy wants to get on a dance show. The only problem is, the show's director, a retired pageant lady, only takes pretty, supermodel-thin kids. Also, Tracy's mom disapproves of anything modern and new. One day, Tracy sneaks out and auditions for it. And she gets on! But the director wants her off, stat. She also wants to get rid of all the "negro dancers." Can Tracy and her friends convince people that it's what's on the inside that counts? Watch Hairspray to find out.
