Hello everyone. I hope you had an awesome Christmas and New Year. Did you know I joined DOGO on Christmas? Well, I am very happy I found this website. Writing reviews couldn’t be more better! I like how these websites are especially for kids, making me feel more comfortable. During my week on DOGO, I have written a lot of reviews and two have them have got featured. What is your New Years resolution for 2018 on DOGO? Mine is at least gaining 10 featured reviews this year. I hope you check out my reviews out! Also, a follower would be nice as well. - Dorkpop2000

Hello, I am Dorkpop2000 and today I will be reviewing, ‘Paddington 2.’ Paddington is starting to be part of the neighbourhood, helping and brightening up the place a little. Later in the movie, he wants to buy a particular book for his Aunt’s birthday and it turns out to be very expensive. Because of this, he tries to find a job and sticks with window cleaning and other jobs related to cleaning. As he continues to save up, he needs one more day to complete his goal. He looks at the book that he needs and whispers to himself, ‘Only one more day...’ He walks away from the shop and a crime occurs, being a good bear he runs to the thief who has stolen the book so he can return it back. Sadly, the thief runs away with the book and Paddington is left with policemen surrounding him. Later he is taken to court and then ended up in prison. In prison, he makes new friends and settles in. Though, he wishes he was at home. There is more to the movie, but that is some of it. I was really impressed with the plot which was very well written because throughout the movie I wanted to know what would happen next. Also, the movie really makes you love Paddington. He is such a good role model, like it says in the movie, ‘Paddington tries to find the good in all of us.’ Which was very true. Even in prison he tried to help out and made a big difference to the food there. What did I dislike in the movie? I am not sure actually, it was quite perfect. Not so perfect I would give it 5 popcorns though. So do I recommend it? Yes, suitable for all ages. I guarantee you will love it.

dorkpop2000liked a comment in The Emoji Movie.
i don't even know what to say about this film. I don't even know what I expected from this movie. If your watching this movie, I recommend renting it, or watching on Netflix, so it's not that bad. But I saw this in theaters, I want to give my thoughts on it. The animation is lacking and pretty lazy. Some scenes have really beautiful animation, but most of the time, it's basic, and something Pixar would make in 2005. The film is just an cliche Pixar plot, mixed with terrible pop culture references. Every time they made an awful internet joke, I closed my eyes, clenched my teeth, or breathed heavily. Speaking of plot, it was really stupid, and had a basic message. If you want to teach your kids a message, just tell them to be who you really want to be, instead of showing them an hour and eighteen minute cringefest. All in all, it was stupid, but what did I expect, being a movie about living emoji's. 1/10, maybe 2/10

Hello, I am Dorkpop2000 and today I will be reviewing, ‘Minions.’ Now, this movie is very funny and will make the kids laugh a lot, plus the parents! I personally think, ‘Minions’ was a perfect comedy. Stuart, Kevin and Bob make the movie light up. Without any of their personalities, I think that the movie would’ve been missing that extra something. What do I think could’ve been improved in this movie? Well, maybe the jokes went a bit far, I’m not going to lie, but I still enjoyed it. Do I recommend it? Yes, if you want to have a laugh with the family, go for this movie! I recommend for 6 and up.

dorkpop2000's movie review was featured in Sing.
Hello, I am Dorkpop2000 and today I will be reviewing, ‘Sing.’ Sing is a lovely movie, with outstanding quality, (even though it was on a low budget). I loved everything about it. Well, almost. Actually, I found some parts quite sad. The movie really did give me mixed emotions as I continued to watch it. At the end... Oh the end was beautiful, the colours, the singing... It’s best I don’t spoil it. What did I not like about the movie? The mouse. Full stop. He was quite rude and difficult, not to mention disrespectful. He also went to the bank and asked for a ridiculous amount of money to buy a car, certain he would be able to pay it all back since he thought he was going to win the singing competition, so he would be able to pay the money back. He also gambles and tries to impress a mouse girl who madly falls in love with him when she sees his $100,000 car. Yep, $100,000. I was horrified. Did he know what he had got himself into? Nope. I could write more paragraphs, but I wouldn’t want to spoil it for those who are willing to watch it. Do I recommend it? Yes, it’s really good. Hope you watch it!

Hello, I am Dorkpop2000 and today I will be reviewing, ‘Dork Dairies: Crush Catastrophe.’ Now, the book was very enjoyable and kept me interested on what was going to happen next. The writer made it more interesting as you got through the book. Almost at the end, I was reading nonstop, flipping through the pages, at the edge of my seat. The only thing I kind of dislike about the book was there was something not right. Nikki had a crush on Brandon for a long time and finally when Brandon says he likes her, she then likes some other guy! Do I recommend it? Em, yeah! If you want some drama to light you up, I suggest reading Dork Diaries: Crush Catastrophe. Happy reading!

Very unfair, looks like nowadays the only important thing is money. Now this is affecting what we want to watch and what quality we want to watch it in. I don’t want to watch a video buffering every 10 seconds! Why must we have to put up with that? Worst of all, we now have to pay for websites! Websites! This is a horrible idea and soon families will have no choice but to hardly use the websites they love again. I am very disappointed that people care so much about money and are crazy enough to take away our beautiful privilege, Net Neutrality.

dorkpop2000's movie review was featured in Chicken Little.
Hello, I am Dorkpop2000 and I will be reviewing, ‘Chicken Little.’ To be honest, this movie has some bad parts and good parts. A majority of the movie is good, but some of it... The behaviour of some of the animals to the chicken wasn’t very nice, actually, horrible. I think the writers went over the line. All because he thought the sky was falling, he got bullied for years. :/ Now, without the bullies the movie would feel unfinished but as I said, they made the bullies way too mean. That is why I gave it 3 popcorns instead of 5. Do I recommend it? Yes, depends on the sort of person you are. I, personally, enjoyed the movie, but disliked some of it as well. But who knows? It could be your favourite film all time!

Hello, I am Dorkpop2000 and today I will be reviewing, ‘The Diamond Girls.’ Now, may I just say this book is AMAZING. Basically, the book is filled with drama throughout which makes you engrossed to the book. This is a strategy the author uses in her books which really interests me. Also, another point I may add, is that she adds real life situations in the book. It makes you feel as if you know the main character in real life. The minute I read the first chapter I kept on reading it and reading it and I was quite upset when I finished it. It was quite scary at some points but that wasn’t a big deal for me. Do I recommend it? Oh yes! But, I would advise age 10 or 11 and over will enjoy it most. Some maturity is needed to understand and enjoy the book more. I hope after reading my review, you have a better idea on reading this book.
