Deep in the waters of Maldive Island lies a sunken cargo ship. According to ancient tradition, the ship, which was on its way to England in the 1800s, contains gold even to this day. But is this ship a legend or a true story? Ray Parker is sure she can figure it out. Sent to Maldive Island to save her struggling magazine column on Icon Magazine, the author of “Reservations For One”, Ray Parker, is looking for just the right topic for her article. Ray believes that if she can find the ship, she will be able to save her column. And after she meets Jared, a handsome worker at the resort Ray is staying at, Ray sees him as a way to help her discover the ship. But as her trip to Maldive Island comes to a close, Ray begins to think Jared is the man for her, but if so, that could cost her her job. What does she love more, charming Jared or successful Icon Magazine? All she knows is she can’t have them both. I really liked this movie. I had my doubts about it but it turned out to be really good. It taught the importance of finding what you truly want in life. Ray Parker is a relatable character. Viewers can enjoy how honest and real Ray is. I also loved the amount of culture there was in this movie. Plus the ocean scenes are incredible. I suggest this movie if you like romance, comedy, the ocean, and vacations. Happy watching!
