Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)
Alex, Marty, and other zoo animals find a way to escape from Madagascar when the penguins reassemble a wrecked airplane. The precariously repaired craft stays airborne just long enough to make it to the African continent. There the New Yorkers encounter members of their own species for the first time. Africa proves to be a wild place, but Alex and company wonder if it is better than their Central Park home.

This movie was pretty good but not as good as the first. I think they tried really hard to make it funny and it wasn't. But the humor came back in the 3rd one so I recommend every on to see Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted!
SO the animals come back but land in Africa in a plane crash and lion boy meets long lost dad, and everyone tries to accustom to the African style of animals.
