Pitch Perfect 2 (2015)
The Bellas are back, and they are better than ever. After being humiliated in front of none other than the President of the United States of America, the Bellas are taken out of the Aca-Circuit. In order to clear their name, and regain their status, the Bellas take on a seemingly impossible task: winning an international competition no American team has ever won. In order to accomplish this monumental task, they need to strengthen the bonds of friendship and sisterhood and blow away the competition with their amazing aca-magic! With all new friends and old rivals tagging along for the trip, the Bellas can hopefully accomplish their dreams.

Love this movie so much. I've seen the first one a couple hundred times, and I have no doubt that I will be seeing this one as much. if not more. Packed with the same humor and energy, Pitch Perfect 2 is as good as the first one, if not better. Your favorite characters remained, but there were new additions including freshman Emily Junk, played by Hailee Steinfeld, who quickly becomes one of the main stars. I loved how they were able to bring the old stars, like Aubrey and Bumper and manage to bring them back into the movie. It was very interesting to see where everyone ended up and also how Becca and Jesse are doing, because the movie takes place 3 years later than the first one. There was also a new a capella group, DAS Sound Machine, who play the enemy, but quickly became my favorite. It was a whole new sound of a capella I've never heard before. My only complaint is that they focused too much on the relationships between four individuals (I'll give you a hint: they are new, blooming couples). Oh my gosh! This movie was a ca-brilliant! Did you see what I did there??? A cappella + Brilliant= Aca-brilliant! Lol... Now I'm just rambling... but I really enjoyed this movie, loved the actress and actors... and of course I loved the songs! When I was at the theater with a couple of my friends... everybody in the theater (including me XD) sang along with the songs.... It was that a ca-razy and a hilarious movie! I don't remember a time where I wasn't laughing... I thought this movie was better than the first... but some of my other friends thought the first was better... so I guess it really depends on your opinions... But I still think this movie was better than the first, and plus it's hard for the second movie to beat the original... but they did it...
