School of Rock (2003)
Fired from his band and hard up for cash, guitarist and vocalist Dewey Finn finagles his way into a job as a fifth-grade substitute teacher at a private school, where he secretly begins teaching his students the finer points of rock 'n' roll. The school's hard-nosed principal is rightly suspicious of Finn's activities. But Finn's roommate remains in the dark about what he's doing.

sorry. I don't remember a lot of things so my summary might be off. The movie was really good. really funny.
- jj11- you should really watch it. It is about a substitute teacher who doesn't think learning is fun. He is interested in music so he wants them to play like in a band. He tells them to each sing, or play an instrument. He has talks with other teachers and they don't like it-until, him and his band perform on stage at a concert with other groups.(It is like a contest.) They do really well. When they choose the winner, they end up winning. Teachers now think it is okay and like his idea. To anyone who watches it, just to warn you, it uses curse words.

My English teacher recommended me this movie, and I watched a real tiny bit in the first part. I think that it would be good

I loved it so much. The kids are amazing. 5 popcorn for sure. I have the movie on DVD, too.
If you like jack black then this is the movie for you it is so funny I watch this movie all the time i also watch super 8 alot to i watched super 8 3 times in one day anyway school of rock is about a band member who gets kicked out and he says hes his friend and works at a school then when he heres them in band pratice he puts a band together with the kids it is so funny you have to watch
