I loved it! It made me teary! But when her arm was bitten off it made me all most barf and I had to leave the room. But other then that it was good!- cooly567over 13 yearsidk if i should watch it bcuz i wasnt sure about the shark biting her bcuz i get scared easily
This movie was amazing but, when it got to the part where her arm got bitten off, I didn't really like it then. One time, my friend was over and she brought the movie with her and my sister made us some lunch and we played it. when it got to the part where the shark bit her arm off, I was drinking some water and I almost literally, spit it out.
this movie touched me every much. This the movie about bethany hamiltion a champion chip surfer. she has been surfing at a very young age and was born to surf. Oneday she went surfing with her friend alana and alana's brother and father at the kauia waves. she was resting on her board when all of a sudden a 14ft tiger shark comes up and bites her arm off right bello the soulder. Thanks to the fast actions of alana's father bethany lived but now has o live life without a arm to padle with.She wasnt affraid of sharks but she was scard that she may never surf again. Her frist time surfing after the accident was hard. Bu she didnt want any help. on her 3th wave she was up and surfing again. She won a lot of surfing comtes i heard. The book, movie and articels on bethany hamiltion are amazing. Bthany's story has touched the hearts of everyone in america and i have the mark to prove it LOL. Anyway all the movies i watched that are inspirer by a true story touch me but this one touch me the most. This movie makes me want to surf and someday i want to go surfing with her and meet her in person. P.S. follow me ~tomboy4eve~
ladycat246over 13 yearsThis is one of my Fav movies ever. I early like movies that are true stores like this one. Also i think it is amazing that she can still serf with out one arm. I think that is really hard to do and i know some people out there agree. This movie was very touching because even though she went through pain she still went to surf al the time she was amazing. Who every in the world did not see this move yet gas to because there are lot of good life lessons in this move. borntoswimover 13 yearsThis is an inspiring movie. It shows you can follow your dreams even if your missing something. Bethany Hamilton is one f my role model because even though she went through so much pain, she survived and won a lot of competitions. I also liked this movie cause it was made well and Carrie Underwood is in it. If you want inspiration watch the movie then read the book. I recommend this movie to ages 7 and up except maybe for the shark part.
Soul Surfer was one of the best movies that I've seen with inspirational acts. It says to practically believe in yourself and keep going. So watch this movie to be inspired. It was fantastic.

This movie was so good. It showed that you can overcome anything. Anna-sophia Rob did a great job portraying Bethany Hamilton.
