It is about heroic rebellion, rebels such as Luke Skywalker, Han solo, Princess Leia, and Lando Calriesen. The rebels battle an evil empire, Imperials such as Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, and Grand Moff Tarkin. The rebels defeat the empire in episode VI Return of the Jedi [spoiler alert]. There are 6 other movies. The first 3 are prequels, and the 7 is not part of the trilogy. The other 2 movies of the trilogy are THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and A NEW HOPE. The Jedi are a group of knights that protect the galaxy from evil. The Jedi think of themselves as peacekeepers, not warriors. There enemies are the Sith, an evil organization. There aim is to take over the galaxy and destroy the Jedi. The special effects are amazing. The lightsabers and blaster bolts can actually break things and make ships fly and speeders float [technology in Star Wars is much more sophisticated]. They can even make ships shoot. The costumes and scenery look so real. The lava on Mustafar looks like real lava, the aliens and droids look like real robots and aliens. It is also packed with action. There are lots of lightsaber fights and giant battles. That is why you should definitely watch the Star Wars Trilogy.
