- Popcorn loverover 8 yearsIt wasn't like the other Star Wars movies. Don't u all agree
- it was in some other ways Ray is very much like Luke Skywalker
- I agree. I think he coud be her father
- She's probably his daughter.
- doubt it
- Why do you doubt it? Her clothes are very similar to Shmi, Little Ani, and Luke. She comes from a desert planet (probably left there for her own safety) and Anakin's lightsaber calls to her. Luke used the same lightsaber, and as Maz Kanata says, "The Force is calling to you. Just let it in." The whole Star Wars trilogy is focused on a Skywalker. Plus, in the old non-canon novels, Luke married and had a son. It's perfectly plausible for Rey to be a Skywalker. Even in the novelization of The Force Awakens, Kylo Ren knows who Rey is. He says, "It IS you." At the end, it describes Luke as looking upon her with "kindness" but "sadness" and he knows who she is and why she's here.
