UglyDolls (2019)

In the adorably different town of Uglyville, weirdness is celebrated, strangeness is special and beauty is embraced as more than meets the eye. After traveling to the other side of a mountain, Moxy and her UglyDoll friends discover Perfection -- a town where more conventional dolls receive training before entering the real world to find the love of a child.

This movie was great! The upbeat vibes were amazing. I was kinda weirded out by the horrifically soppy songs however. This is great entertainment for kids 10 and under. UglyDolls' worst feature is that it's rather bland. For a movie about embracing one's differences, it does seem to be pretty much identical to the many other 'summer holiday kids movies' out there. There's a frustratingly passive nature to UglyDolls that prevents it from being the more meaningful film it could have been. But the vocals are amazing.

Even though I'm a little bit too old to watch movies like this, Ugly Dolls was okay. It wasn't good and it wasn't bad. The message about beauty was nice, but the movie could've been a bit better due to the plot.

It was honestly an extremely cliche but wonderful movie and funny. I never watched it again, but that did not mean I didn’t like this heartwarming movie. Ugly Dolls tells us that beauty is only in the eye of the beholder, and looks don’t matter when you’ve got a good heart. With friends, life in Uglyville is turned to a new age!

I remember the first time I watched this movie, with my dad, in theaters, eating popcorn and candy. My dad fell asleep, however I was amused at 8 years old. I loved all the songs, and the characters were overall, good. Kelly Clarkson played Moxy, Janelle Monae plays Mandy, Nick Jonas plays Lou, and his 3 henchwoman were Bebe Rexha, Charli XCX, and Lizzo. It was nice, the main theme was accepting somebody different, and not everyone is perfect. Each person has their perfections and flaws. Overall, amazing movie!!

I think that this is a good movie if you like singers like Nick Jonas and Kelly Clarkson. It is also good because it has a lesson that kids all age show learn. If you have not already watched this then I think you showed watch it.

It was good! I really liked the fact that 3/4 of the coaches from my favorite show "The Voice" where voice actors. All of Y'all probably love Kelly Clarkson, but Blake Shelton is my favorite guy singer. I ❤ country music!!!
