Vitus was a child genius! He knew all the answers in class and played the piano really well. When he falls off his window, he acts as if his brain is injured. From there, he stops being that child genius and becomes another normal kid. His parents wanted him to become super smart but he just didn't. Vitus pretended to be dumb. Later he would spend his time mostly with his grandfather who wasn't as annoying as his parents. Sitting down, and just playing chess all day long. Vitus still had a strong passion for music, he loved the piano. He just ignored his skills and pretended to be who he is now. But listening to music, his love only becomes stronger. Vitus just played all he want, played like he used to, like a true genius. His parents just wanted to use hime for glory. Vitus never did want to be like this, he couldn't take being the super smart guy. But Vitus just needed the piano. It was his passion, it was his hobby, it was destiny. It was his friend
