- bekahbooover 6 yearsThis is about a boy and girl. The boy recently lost his mother and doesn't know who his father is, he has one bad ear. He was staying with his aunt and cousins when he went to his old house where he used to live with his mom. He got struck by lightning while calling someone on the phone. he was sent to the hospital and now cannot hear but can speak. He tries to find his father but fails to do so. The girl in the movie is really the grandma. She is deaf and can not speak or hear. But, she knows sign language. the movie shows her as a little girl, trying to be with her mom. Back to the boy, He goes to the library in search to find his father because he worked there once. He finds a friend instead, Eventually, he meets his grandma, (when she is old) She shows and tells her grandson where and what his father did and is. I liked the book but haven't seen the movie, This is a lot like the book so I bet its good. It looks good too.
