I really liked this movie! My class read the book and we watched the movie together. They're almost exactly alike. Holes talks about the 3 different stories on Camp Green Lake and Stanley Yelnats.

I have read and seen the movie at school it awesome!!!:) the movie is about a boy named stanley and the police men accuse him for stealing a pair of shoes from the homeless shelter when he didn't steal anything (shoes were from a famous baseball player) so they gave him a choice to go to jail or camp green lake and he picked camp green lake and when he got their their only boys and they have to dig holes to" improve their character" so he makes friends and on a way he brakes a curse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S.- stanleys great great pig stealing grand father was given the curse i think i forgot by singing a song and caring a boy up a mountain!:)

Totally!!! I feel bad for the boys but I can tell that the other boys besides stanley actually did something wrong. Stanley was accused of nothing. Camp Green lake is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*SPOILER ALERT* His grandfather was given a curse because he didn't carry Madame Zeroni on the last day after asking for Myra's hand in marriage. She promised if he forgot, she would curse his descendants for all eternity. Madame Zeroni's descendant, Hector Zeroni (Zero) was bestfriends with Stanley Yelnats (Which is Stanley backwards). Stanley broke the curse when he carried Zero up the mountain.

Really want to watch it. I read the book and from peoples reviews, it sounds exactly like the book. It was a really good book. Louis Sachar should make another holes book that connects to the first one.
