  I think that The Giver is a really good movie it talks about a boy named Jonas. Jonas sees thing differently he sometimes sees color all around him. He’s really good friends with Asher and Fiona and all of them are going to get jobs and everything is going to be different for them. Jonas was chosen to be the receiver, Asher was chosen to be a Pilot and Fiona was chosen to take care of baby’s. The Giver was Jonas's teacher he gave Jonas memories from the past and the future, he showed Jonas animals like an elephant and a dog. Jonas is now able to see colors because of the giver, Jonas learned new things like a sled and also snow and he showed him dancing. Sometimes The Giver showed Jonas good memories and sometimes bad memories like war, guns, and hunting. Jonas was really upset because he wants everybody to remember all these things that he knows but he can’t. I think you should watch this movie because it’s really interesting and it’s really good.

  What would it be like not knowing what it means to make your own choices, color, love someone, animals, culture, ect. In The Giver that is what Jonas goes though every day. He later gets assigned an important job in his community being the Receiver of Memory. He later finds out there is way more than what is just in his community and figuring out why they don’t have all those things and why doesn’t anyone else know what it looks and feels like. As he receives more and more memories from the Giver he believes he can make those happy memories come true even though there might be some bad ones too. There is a few differences from the book and the movie for example the ages and jobs they get. In the movie everything will happen faster so you have to pay attention but it does have you wondering what will happen next. I would recommend you watching the movie but also reading the book as well.

  This was a bad movie compared to the book the book kept you in suspense made you want to read more, has good plot twist and good details. The plot was mostly on his love life. The first few minutes of the movie just got all the good details changed them, replace some and just made them Irrelevant. The movie just made some of the details unnecessary and filled details. I recommend reading the book and if you enjoyed it watch it a get your own opinion.

  You should watch the movie “The Giver” and I recommend it. In the movie “The Giver”, I expect it to be boring sorta like those colorless movies. But as the movie went on, it got more exciting and colorful. I love how creators added so much characters small details into the movie. There was a lot of exciting and frightening moments into movie and your emotions are everywhere!

  The movie “The Giver “ was nice I liked it , at first I didn’t know what it was about. In the middle of the movie it was getting interesting. I recommend to buy it or rent it, it’s a really good movie

  The Giver to me was a less than mediocre interpretation of the book, but I mean if you like rushed and misinterpreted plots you’ve hit the jackpot. My reasoning behind this is The Giver rushed many of the main plots and skimmed over some as well such as the part where Jonas has a dream with Fiona that was important because it showed how much the community was willing to suppress in order to sustain control. Furthermore many part in the book were altered to a degree where it was pretty much warranted to call it a downgrade. In conclusion I do not think you should watch The Giver and furthermore I would even go to call it UTTER GARBAGE but the book was a spectacular build up to a spectacular crescendo, so read the book but don’t watch the movie.

  If watching movies that can grab your attention are amazing to you then The Giver is another movie that could possibly grab your attention as well. I think the movie was pretty cool and that a lot of people should watch it the plot of the story is on how Jonas the main character sees the world different on how the world should actually be. The end of the movie was the biggest part of the story that tells is very emotional and very beautiful story. The Giver brings back all the memories to a special boy named Jonas who can bring things back color, emotions, and being kind, and feeling love. This movie is a good movie to watch if you really like those movie where your can live in a world that doesn’t exist a place you wouldn’t imagine. I recommend people to buy it maybe rent it if you want but it’s just something new that came to a book to a movie The Giver. I think that kids or adults can enjoy this movie.

  If you sometimes wish you had no feelings, and everyone was the same, you should watch The Giver. The Giver is a movie based on the book The Giver (duh). The Giver is an amazing movie, with a community that is totally bland, no colors, and completely in order. Our main character, Jonas, finds that there is more to the world that what he has known for his entire life. He finds that the community hid many memories, of love, hatred, and everything in between. Jonas wants everyone to experience what he feels, but it’s hopeless. Jonas tries to share love with his friend Fiona, but she didn’t understand. The Giver is a great movie, really showing what it’s like to feel something no one else can feel, to know something no one else knows. The Giver is a look into a utopia that isn’t quite what it seems.

  The Giver movie compared to the giver book is a big difference and in my opinion I think that the book was way better than the movie. There is a different things in the movie like the ages of the character and important parts that were in the book weren’t in the movie. I feel like everything in the being of the movie escalated to quickly. The main idea of the movie is that Jonas is that Jonas start to realize/learn a lot about the community from the giver. He learns that the elders are hiding things from the community that are supposed to keep them safe but are actual hiding something from them that makes feel amazing which is love. I do not recommend the movie because it cuts out some important details. But I do recommend the novel/book because you do get a better understanding of what gonna happen and a what’s happening at that moment.

  If you’re into science fiction movies that put you in complete mind blowing spot sometime you should watch The Giver. This movie has so much interesting settings like when you read the book you imagine something else but once you actually see the movie it’s actually very interesting and very pretty settings because since everything look pretty artificial it looks nice. In my opinion The Giver is actually a very good movie for the fact some point it does show you who actually believes in you when nobody else does. I recommend for other people to watch this movie.
